Halfta hours later, we'd have arrive at the gate of Lesgo's house. His house, in comparison to literally every other buildings in the dang city looks rather nice.
It's a gorram mansion.
The gate would open when we approach. Perhaps Kisaragi would have told him the description of my car, also ordered him to open the gate when he sees a car like that.
The disbarred defense attorney was a man in a black and yellow suit. He would have a shield covering his face for unknown reasons, but he seems like an affable man. He gesture me to park my car in an empty space by a limousine.
I'd notice a girl. She looks as young as Bid, but she's in a maid costume. Her skin was unnaturally shiny. A literal maid this time, I see.
She open the doors of my car and lead everyone out of the vehicle. "Welcome to Mr. Lesgo's humble abode!" she says, energetic. "I'm Shiny. Can I prepare you any tea?"
"Ew tea," Meep wrinkles his nose in disgust.
"Uh," Mudkip rolls her eyes. "I take that as a no for the nerdy-looking guy."
"We've just had coke," I answer her. "So I'd prefer not having any drink."
Mudkip nods. "I see, I see... well, uh..." she shrugs. "... Mr. Lesgo, say something. You haven't interacted with them aside from opening the gate for them personally."
"I just want you to finish your conversation with them first," Lesgo says, walking forward. "Nice to meet you, Dalek and Meepster. Kisaragi told me everything about you all." He slightly raises his shield-mask, but not enough to reveal anything but his lips. "I take it you know my name already."
His eyes shift to Alita. "But who's this girl?" he asks.
Alita introduces herself. "My name's Music Alita, they just picked me up. This Kisaragi you speak of doesn't know me yet..." she curtsey. "I got saved from a really awful boss. I worked in a mini-mart store."
"Ah, yes... so many people live like that in this city," Lesgo comments. "I'm sorry you went through that. At least Dalek and Meepster got you out of that life at last." He adjusts his tie. "Anyway, Shiny. You remembered everything I told you to do while I'm gone for a long time, right?"
"Of course I did. I don't forget things easily," replies the maid. "So, you'll be going now? Already? Not giving them a break after a long drive here?"
Meepster ponders. "Maybe it's best we leave now... plus it's you who are driving," he says, pointing at me. I narrow my eyes. Meep has always been a bit of a selfish dick.
Lesgo smiles. "Yes, it's best we leave quickly."
Alita agrees. "Yeah... I'm anxious to see your place."
I sigh. Looks like I'm going to have to work my arms for an hour and a half. "Yes, yes..." time to please the crowd. "Let's go." I'd get back in the car, irritated. They all follow me into the car within a few seconds.
Lesgo turns to look at Shiny 1 last time. "Take care of the place while I'm gone."
"Aye, aye!" Shiny replies cheerfully.
"Tie yer seat belt," I 'warn' my passengers. "I'm about to blast ahead to our place far away from her."
Meepster grumbles, "Just go already. I'll miss my favorite show."

About 45 minutes or so pass. I thought the drive home was gonna be smooth...
Oh boy, was I dead wrong.
A single bullet shatters the window of my car, the ammo barely missing Meepster and me. I'd turn the driving wheel, turning the car around, panicking slightly.
Alita was shaking in her seat, while Lesgo remains calm.
"What the...?!" Meepster exclaims, shocked.
Lesgo answers. "Must be one of Net's men," his eyes, the only thing uncovered by his mask, would narrow in tranquil anger. "He was a rookie prosecutor... with a serious grudge against me." He begins to drop some exposition on that man. "He's part of the mafia, he's got lots of men and they have been out for my head ever since his loss against me. He manage to cheat the system and got me disbarred."
"You live in a mansion... how were you able to remain safe from his attacks until now?" I question, suspicious. My heart would immediately jump when another shot was fired. Miraculously again, it misses us.
"Nobody knows Time Torento Lesgo lives in that mansion," Lesgo answers, crossing his hands, his left eye shut, shrugging off the earlier attack. "I am good at hiding. That's all."
Meepster raises his voice. "Yeah, whatever! How are we gonna get away from them?!"
Alita answers, her voice shaking in slight fear. "J-Just... just keep driving. Drive really quickly... and I think w-we should be able to outspeed them and escape them!" She crosses her fingers and breath in deeply in an attempt to regain her composure. "... relax, Music..."
I hit the pedal, accelerating the car. This time, we're going at 180 miles per hour. "I'll try my best not to crash into anything!" I announce. If we all die, Kisaragi and Bid will probably never know what happen to us. This city doesn't make an effort to report deaths at all.
I try to calm my pulse. I'm getting out of the lions' territory, I hope so. I see a suspension bridge coming up ahead... doubt them snipers can shoot us when we reach it.
We are about to cross said suspension bridge. I, thinking we've fully got out of the danger zone, slow down. It's not easy to drive fast at all.
"Are we safe now...?" Alita asks, her composure still not fully intact.
"I think so," I answer, hiding my doubt.
Turns out my doubt was justified. Alita would quickly notice a car's light, shining too close to us... "That car's accelerating! It's gonna-!"
... slam into us.
Cue screaming coming from everyone, including the normally composed Lesgo. We have lost our cool, now. My car's spinning. I can't see anything coming, but I can expect it.
The same car that most likely intentionally gave us a 'little' bump, again, drifts toward us and, me, unable to react properly, couldn't try to drive out of the way. Instead, that hostile car easily knock us off the suspension bridge.
Predictable. We plummet down into the seawater.

Ivy's POV It's been a whopping total of 8 hours and guess who still isn't back.
There's no way the traffic was that bad, honestly. At most, it would have been a 6 hours drive if I add both the time it takes to get to Lesgo's house and time it takes to get back here. At this point, I got real anxious about Meepster, Lesgo and Dalek. Bid's really worried, too.
I don't look like the sympathetic type, but of course, no one ever bothered note me as someone who's more than a 'snarky troll'. I don't mind this facade much at all, but still.
Me and Bid have been chilling in our office, he reading a geeky novel about aliens and while I'm playing Persona 4 on a Playstation 2. Trust me, these stuff are actually pretty hard to come by because you know, the city and economics suck and rarely anyone have some expensive shit. Hell, I'm surprised Lesgo manage to find an actually nice-looking mansion.
"Bid," I call out to the 'little genius'. "Why the hell aren't they back yet?"
Bid drops his book and shrugs his shoulders. "I wish I knew, Kisaragi. But I don't," he responds, dryly. "Try calling them, maybe."
I nod. "Yeah... if they had traffic problem, they should have let us known," I grab my cellphone which I had put on my desk behind me. "But you know what, they are useless. I'm calling them," I begin to call Dalek.
He never answered.
No matter how many time I have tried calling him, he wouldn't answer me.
"What about... Meepster...?" I decide that calling that dumb aloof cartoon-loving trash might be a good idea, too. Maybe he's slightly more responsive than Dalek.
But no. He didn't answer, too.
"B-Bid," my voice shakes. "They are not answering. And no way did they both conveniently shut down their phone." I begin to explain the situation to him. "Knowing this city, they could be dead. Maybe Lesgo could be dead, too." I turn to him, my eyes widen.
"..." before Bid would speak, there would be a short silence. "... calm down," he tries to keep me composed, "... try calling Lesgo. Check in if they have been to his house yet."
I obey him.
"Well?" Bid questions, an eyebrow raised.
Of course, I'd be even more shaken. No way both Meepster, Dalek and Lesgo wouldn't respond to me. What if they are dead already? We don't have a car, me and Bid can't go find them and visit Lesgo's mansion on our own. "... they..." I pause. "... none of them are responding at all!" my voice's pitch would raise alongside my fear.
Bid closes his eyes. "T-That's..." he stutters. "... very worrying," he bites his lips. "... now, what do we do?"
"... looks like we'll have to go outside and try our best to find a good taxi driver that's actually not an asshole that try to get us killed," I suggest. "But that'll be hard to find."
Bid sighs. "It's our best shot."
"Right," I grumble, still shaken. I would pick up a handgun I keep under my desk. "I only have a handgun to defend us, so don't expect us to be completely safe if we run into shit."
"Well," Bid tilts his head. "Aren't we used to this yet?"
"Good point," I prepare to leave our office. "Come on. Hurry up."
"Right behind you."
