~ Free! Iwatobi Swim Club ~
I know you all groan when you see this, since sports animeand it reminds you all of your insecurities about being unable to swim, but Free! is surprisingly good, honestly. It's a lot more than just everyone being way too fucking serious about swimming competitively (1 character didn't even enjoy being in a competition at first and for a good reason, too!)
It has 2 seasons, 1st being the normal Free! and 2nd being Eternal Summer. Combining 2 seasons together, Free! has 25 Episodes.
Also, gay ships.
~ Gintama ~
A shonen + comedy, which I haven't finished yet, but I've enjoyed it so far. The setting is modern Feudal Japan with aliens, technology and samurais, a pretty silly concept, but I've watched dumber and dumber.
Unfortunately, Gintama has at least 280+ Episodes so far, so if you're patient and dedicated to just 1 anime, I'm sure you'll enjoy Gintama to the very end.
~ Persona 4: The Animation ~
If you want to get into Persona 4, but doesn't have a PS2 or a PS Vita, and is pretty damn sure Arena [And Ultimax] won't get you into the main series, here's your answer. Persona 4: The Animation. The entire premise is a murder mystery case combined with theme of acceptance and friendship.
Persona 4 is on a lighter scale compared to Persona 3, so if you're into the edgier side of things, there's the Persona 3 movie for that.
~ Haikyuu!! ~
More on the competition than Free! Yes, it's about volleyball.
~ Corpse Party: Tortured Souls ~
Spooky shit.
~ Assassination Classroom ~
'Alien' blows up the moon because 'why not', then threatens to destroy Earth in 1 year. In the meantime, he goes to a school and teaches Class E (the worst of the entire school) how to be assassins, while also avoiding getting assassinated by his own students. Good stuff.
~ Jojo's Bizarre Adventure ~
(Artwork is actually from All-Stars Battle, its fighting game spin-off, whoops...)
A very over-the-top anime, which is actually the adaptation of the long-running manga, which means this anime is still unfinished, since it covered only 3 parts so far (Phantom Blood, Battle Tendency, and Stardust Crusaders). In Part 1 and 2, people fought vampires using 'hamon' or 'ripple'. In Part 3, everyone get their Persona- I mean, Stands to do more shit.
Warning though, Stardust Crusaders have toilet humor, so you probably would be grossed out.
How to watch JJBA:
1. The 2012 series
2. Stardust Crusaders
3. The other shit you see are OVAs. Don't watch them.
