Miku Hatsune, part of the Vocaloid series by Crypton Future Media, is a human persona voice-diva synthesizer application. Her voice is sampled from Saki Fujita, a voice actress. The Vocaloid series was immensely unpopular at the time, until the creation of this beautiful turquoise-haired singing beauty. Ever since Miku Hatsune's creation, the Vocaloid series has been gaining fame.
Unlike older musicians with a voice comparable of a chicken (Axl Rose, Freddy Mercury), Miku's beautiful voice with a mix of cuteness was certainly her claim to fame. Despise this, she was Japan-only, but the western community could see how charming she was. Not only that- Miku Hatsune is not a real singer, she's meant to be bought by producers and lyricists who need someone to sing for them. This inspires creativity in every single one of us, though again, she was Japanese-only. That also encourages us to learn the beautiful Nihongo language.
Now, in 2013, at last, they released the English voicebank for Miku Hatsune, which allows the western community to join in on the fun using their favorite diva, which makes this even better.
The Vocaloid series have had many English voicebanks before, but none of them compare to Miku Hatsune these days. Since Miku Hatsune saved the music industry, that's why she is my favorite Vocaloid of all time.
