Hello friends gather around as I tell you the old times of an very small fandom that I have no idea if it even exist anymore.
Color Mafia, an old roleplay experience (basically 3-4 years ago. I was around when it first started), that was done on
Epicmafia. Basically you grab a color deck and everyone is assigned a color. Now what do you do with it??
Easy! The games start on day, so everyone goes onto pastebin (www.pastebin.com) and then write up and description of their character. It's sorta like this.

Thats about all you need. Though, when I last played people used dreamselfy.me instead. Honestly, I rather type it down what my character looks like so I don't take a lot of time to start.
Then after everyone is done, all the descriptions and have all figured out a setting for the characters, they are put in a big master pastebin. Also during the time, you can talk with others if you wanna ship characters (Or you can have it to where your character will just end up with a ship as the game progress) or be related to someone. After that, everyone clicks "no one" for lynching and the night starts right away! During the night, no actions shall be made until the next night. The roleplay starts right away when the first night ends. Also depending how this game goes, it can get really really depressing. Depends how the person behind the character makes it.
There are different types of roleplay "mafia" gamemodes. Regular, Dinner, Hitman, Poisoner/Fabricator roulette, Disguiser, or Zombie. I will explain each one.
Regular: Basically, just normal mafia. Mostly two or three mafias. Famous settings would be in a town or some motel that everyone lives in. Goes on like a normal game, get rid of all the mafias.
Dinner: Dinner is normally the longest of gamemodes. There is the Celebrity, who chooses the setting at the very beginning of the game. They are also the host. Interrogator are the people who are killing. They write up in a pastebin how a character dies, leaving small hints on who they are. Also if the other person is okay with it, you can roleplay it out with them at night. Then theres the "roomates" which are two templars, two cops with the same variety, and two masons. This is because they chat at night. You don't have to have all three roles, you can just have two templars and two masons or the complete opposite. Oh I must add that the "roommates" cannot preform night actions. In Dinner, your job is to find out who the killer is basically.
Hitman: Basically, only 1 hitman and everyone else is villager. The settings are pretty ranged in this gamemode. As it can be anything from just modern times to future. This can be post-apocalypse, crashed bus, or pretty much anything anyone can agree to. You have to figure out who the hitman is so no one else dies.
Poisoner/Fabricator Roulette: This is the gamemodes that can get PRETTY depressing. The roles are agents, who are the ones getting everyone killed and must out themselves before the game starts. They talk to the killer and tells them who is next. Agents try to speak to poison/fab on the first day, messaging them secretly and telling them to whisper to them a "secret message" so they don't add them to the roulette. Poisoners do the poisoning each day and Fabricators give out guns each day. Basically, Agents tell them who to kill. They must randomly pick people. But some people don't really do that often ah. Now heres the thing with this gamemode, when Fabricators are up, they have to give out guns and those people who gets the guns have to, ya know, kill themselves. For the sake of others. Poisoners just poison. Every other role, it's just villagers. The settings range to all kinds depending. From stuck in a game and killed within it and dying in real life or just trapped in a house.
Disguiser: This one lets you use mythical creatures or not, as everyone lives in a town or so. Kinda like hitman where it's one role versus villagers, disguiser is basically where you are the monster who kills and disguises as that person and you keep on doing that until either you are founded out or win.
Zombie: As yes, one of my favorite gamemodes. How this goes is one person is infected as the zombie and can tell no one at all. There are the gunsmiths to give out guns, and the whispers/telepath that makes people seem like they are going crazy. Mafias (whisperers) cannot kill what so ever. Settings are great as it ranges to abandoned malls to so on, even Sea world. (Don't ask. I was actually in one where we did sea world for a setting in Zombies)
Those are basically all the gamemodes I can think of at the top of my head. I was wondering that perhaps we could do these someday. Get the feels on. Ya know.
